People get crazy with snow etiquette. I’ve heard of fights over snow blowers blowing snow onto a neighbors property, throwing shoveled snow into the street and there was a teenager who was shot and killed when I was younger because he threw a snowball at the wrong car.

Don’t even get me started on lawn chairs placed in dug out parking spots.

yeahsure I throw shoveled snow in the street. Cars drive buy, crush and melt it. What's wrong with that?
 Quoting: Anonymous Coward 14616612

Do you blow your leaves in the street also?
 Quoting: Duncan the destroyer

YES

The city then comes on designated days with mulching vacuum trucks and cleans it all up.

Are you fucking new??? Never live in a civilized area???

The snowplow also removes any snow you push to the street, takes to end of street where it is loaded into dumptrucks and hauled away.

Some people have zero common sense.

The idea is to get the roads clear.

ZERO details on this event and searching for info is impossible, they have taken over the net and control every narritive! Can't find one thread of comments on Facebook, you'd have to dig for hours. So frustrating.

I think it's safe to surmise the married couple was shoveling snow to close to his vehical or throwing the snow somewhere thoughtless.

He went beserk after a year of us being in lockdown, then he's dealing with cabin fever up north. the local news in Lucerrne county PA is WBRE.

This link seems to have far more information than manistream media.

If it is just 5" or less of snow I agree ... however when you get a DUMP of a foot or more most can't get out of their driveways if they don't shovel out the driveway since most vehicles can NOT drive through a foot of snow. Much of the east coast got 18" of HEAVY WET SNOW during this storm.

8" - which is the bottom clearance of most vehicles - is generally the limit of what a typical US vehical can DRIVE through once they are moving, though just getting moving if the snow is that deep can be tough. Even my 4wd Suburban needs some solid momemtum to keep going in 10" of heavy wet snow (different from light fluffy snow - the burb can move through 14" - 16" or so of that as long as I keep moving and it is only that deep for a short distance).

Town ordinance if I don't clear the sidewalk between my property and the road it's a $50 fine. Included in the paperwork is a statement that if anyone is injured on the sidewalk I didn't clear it I'm 100% responsible, not the town. So I get sued on top of it and the town is so very kind to the injured pedestrian to be sure to point that out to them. Probably handing then some lawyers business cards that just happen to be related to the town officials.

Pride in ownership and protecting an investment. Not to mention the satisfaction of a good days work. I think those who don't do those things are lazy pigs and disrespectful of their neighbors and neighborhood. Property values go up and down depending on such things.

In my front yard, I do not have trees that lose their leaves in the fall. I HATE it when the neighbors allow their leaves to blow across the street and into my yard. I get it from several families because I have a corner lot. I don't say anything to them. I just rake their leaves and swear under my breath. It's a lot of work. I can pay someone, but it's almost a daily thing for over a month.

W. Bergh Street, Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania

I looked at Google Maps. A few houses, where those authorities in the photo are standing, are duplexes. Close living quarters where two families share an inside wall, back yard, and a porch. Not that it matters, but I'm wondering if they got on each other's nerves before. Caused anger in the past.

I finally read the article and it was a murder suicide which tells me it was likely not a random pissed off incident. Sounds to me like poor mental health and likely a history of bad neighborly relations

Have you ever watched the channel on TV...Investigation Discovery (ID)? They have episodes called "Fear Thy Neighbor."

After months or years of bickering, a neighbor will kill his neighbor or both the husband and wife. This thread reminds me of those episodes. They are unbelievable.

With those three people dead in PA, I guess we'll never find out what the argument was about.

Because there are no county/township trees in our development. The only trees are in yards on private property. I have evergreens in my front yard. Their leaves do not even remotely resemble large oak or maple tree leaves I rake in the fall.
