I never said that it was only supposed to light one engine during the landing. According to the webcast one engine would shut off after it returned to vertical before touching down, but two engines were initially supposed to light and halt the rotation.

I thought those were already back?

Actually I believe we are saying essentially the same thing except you are so used to flat earth there is no space tards disrupting your threads you are a wee bit gun shy.

I don't think he's saying space x is fake...I mean he did say "fake space x" but I think he meant it's more of a sham. As in he doesn't believe they have ever sent anything into space. Clearly, your video shows that they launched then crashed a rocket...a BFR. That is 100% real.

That isn't my video, that's my friend's video captured with my software. I've not only tracked SpaceX landings (which yes some people DO claim are fake) but also their payloads in orbit.

I've measured the distance, altitude size and speed of ISS. I've tracked the Tesla in space and determined its distance. It's real.

And do you have pics of the Tesla? How far away is the Tesla actually from earth?

I have a telescope...it's like a 6 year old Orion Starseeker 2. I love to take it out and look at the moon and the stars. In my head, I have no idea what I'm looking at, the way the stars shimmer and the way the edge of the moon is sometimes greenish. It's wild to look at that shit. I wish I had the capability to take pics or record video with it.

I'm gonna ask a question and you can't can not answer, obviously your choice. The biggest thing that I question when it comes to the ball model is sound. I don't understand how I can even hear the sound of me typing this. The earth is spinning at 1000ish mph, it is moving 60,000 ish mph, then the solar system itself is moving hundreds of thousands of mph (if I'm wrong correct me.) I can wrap my head around the notion that we are all moving with the atmosphere. I can understand that it's why the ground doesn't move underneath a plane. Or the same reason if I'm on a bus thats traveling 80mph and I jump, I won't slam into the back of the bus. I can get that. What I can not seem to understand is sound. Sound isn't tangible. It doesn't exist at all until the moment it does. So when anything makes a sound, just given the speed of rotation of the earth the sound shouldn't be able to keep up. Let alone the 60 or so thousand it's moving around the sun. Can you explain how that works? Where am I flawed?

My wife is dying for me to make a donation to St Jude and apply for the space trip later this year. The one I asked you about earlier. I told her there is NO WAY they would ever accept me. But she's tired of my view on it. Help me help her LOL. Make sound make sense and I could jump ship in an instant.

I already once remarked (in the thread about those 2 guys who were to ISS last year) about their clothing which made designed by some big fashion guy but obviously it wasn't a spacesuit. Astrumut said, yes it's a spacesuit but it' beneath the outer layers.

Well no, that was no spacesuit. Not a spacesuit in any usual sense, intended to protect against space without an atmosphere and in a virtual vacuum. And what's more, Astrumut also claimed there was a connection somewhere on the hip or leg of their suits which was meant for having a tube or something fixed to it connecting them to their seats which would actually mean those astronauts would be chained to their seats as it were.

This was in 2020...half a century after Man has walked on the moon!

They blew up a bunch of Rockets developing that Rocket and landing system too. What SpaceX has done is nothing short of incredible.

Our level of technology today has long left the pioneering stage. How is it you figure it will nonetheless sink back to that lavel hundreds of years from now? Even if society collapses, we still have all that knowledge. We don't have to start from scratch again, even if infrastructure, grid, plants etc. are destroyed worldwide.

Yes. My best picture of it yet. Took it early in the Crew-1 mission currently docked to ISS.

It was nearly 8 times the distance to the moon when I last saw it.


Conservation of angular momentum. The atmosphere is moving (roughly) with the surface of the earth. We share the same momentum. The momentum carried by air across different latitudes (with less rotation towards the poles) causes the rotation of hurricanes and it's why they rotate differently in the northern vs southern hemispheres.


Sound is our perception of pressure waves moving through air. The speed of sound is relative to the mass of air it's moving through.

I threw a few bucks to it, might as well have my name in the hat. It's for a good cause. You should try for it, I'd love to see a flat earther get in that capsule.

The FAA is getting involved now so it's hard to say. They'll probably drag their feet on concluding their investigation.
