I always had more confidence in OAN, which as far as I know is still OK.

But despite OAN providing the wonderful Chanel Rion who was his only backer in the press, Trump came out in favor of Newsmax not OAN.

It was Trump's choice. I'm all out of giving him excuses on this. He kicked OAN in the teeth in favor of Newsmax, and you see what Newsmax is, which is about the same as it was before. Trump chooses wrong allies again and again.
