A Story of Debt and telling the Universe what I want.

Skip back to 2014.

I’m 38K in credit card debt, roommate in Austin kicked me out after a manic episode and I’m living out of my SUV with my 2 cats traveling across the southwest staying in $30/night hotels..

I was abused at Apple by piss poor management, quit after 2 years, at the same time, quit my MBA program, and in a super manic episode one night told God and the universe, if I ever worked for another corporation again, they would have to pay me 10k to walk in the door.

Lived out of my SUV for 3-4 months with my cats while I mentally recovered...

By the time I started looking for a new job, I got an offer for 3x my previous pay and a 22k sign on bonus. I couldn’t say yes quick enough. 5+ years later, no debt (paid off my near 40k in CC debt within ~1yr) , own a home, and now make just over 200k/yr.

If I never had the balls to leave finance / accounting, I would have never put myself in this position to make crazy money.

Don’t be afraid to tell the universe what you want. Realizing your future is possible. Just do it.
