I got a glp question. Any one else graduate and not attend the ceremonies?

I didn't graduate

I was not allowed to attend the ceremony, but I did graduate. Why did you ask this?

This is a very weird coincidence because me and other old classmates have been speaking about this all day

Nope...wanted nothing to do with that farce. Graduated with As.

i paid for my ticket to all three class reunions then never went as i had to work.
i can just see them all looking at that nameplace at the table and nobody there.lol.
the job of an international spy makes scheduling difficult.

Our high school graduation ceremony was held on the football field. A buddy and I watched it from the roof of the Boy Scout cabin across the street from the field.

I graduated 4th in a class of 92 people, and drank beer on a roof while all the "normal" kids were across the street.

Mom and Dad didn't speak to me for a week.

Does getting divorced and not bothering to show up for the hearing count?

I still graduated.

Got a certificate and everything.

And freedom.

I remember my first day of school much better than my last day. It was very traumatic.

skipped a lot of classes. summer school. missed the ceremony.

Went to my high school graduation.


Didn't go to graduation when I got my bachelor's.



Did go when I got my master's.

My last year of high school, my mother was out of the country, I was living with a pot dealing room mate in an awesome place on the banks of the St. Lawrence River.

I got straight A's but between dealing weed with my room mate's and his Montreal mafia connections, parties, future plans etc., the whole Graduation and Grad formal just seemed overblown. I never went to either.

Yes and NO ...

My very favorite grandpa was buried that same day. I just could not do the whole BS graduation crap.

I did sit in the audience with my best friends mother and her two brothers. Her mom held my hand, and kept telling me it would be alright.

I had one beer at the party, and went back to my new apartment, and to work the next morning.

Still miss my grandpa but never will miss High School.

50 years ago this June 7th!

It just was in my head. Like a did that really happen . but i see im not alone. Birds of a feather.

Most of them I was at another university or off on a work project. The one I did attend I walked and found the jacket was empty since I owed money to to the Bursar.

My best graduation ceremony was directed by Shawn Penn, he had me creeping on the co-eds at the ceremony.
