Two decades after the publication of The Black Book of Communism, nearly everyone is or at least should be, aware of the immense evil produced by that devilish ideology first hatched when Karl Marx penned his Communist Manifesto two centuries ago. No other theory in all of history has led to the deaths of so many innocents. How could the Father of Lies not be involved?

At long last, here, in this book by Professor Paul Kengor, is a close, careful look at the diabolical side of Karl Marx, a side of a man whose fascination with the devil and his domain would echo into the twentieth century and continue to wreak havoc today. Thread: The Devil and Karl Marx

This book caught my eye while walking through a campus tour at Grove City College.
It’s a book written by Paul Kengor, a professor at the University. I’ve read a few reviews, find the information fascinating.
We are a conservative family, and this one book, professor, might have sealed the deal where our child will attend.
If they have this in the glass case where the tour begins, I doubt there will a lot of liberal ideology discussed as doctrine.
Since I just ordered this this evening, wondering if anyone has read it and what their opinion is.

I find it amusing and bemusing that the military is going to throw people out for wearing cartoon frogs, etc (to include all things Hitler-obviously and for good reason in this particular instance), yet the visage of this man is found in many a college university settings and professors openly claim alignment with his ideals. Keep in mind the Nazi's reportedly murdered around 5-6 million innocents (on the high end) and Communism, well in excess of 100 million. Marx's ideologies have created more suffering on Earth than any other in human history- yet for some reason he is revered like one of the saints he openly despised.
