BTC is Gold 2.0. In fact, it is BETTER than physical gold, because it stores value through both time AND space (physical gold is difficult to securely store, cannot be transported easily, and can be stolen or confiscated far more easily than BTC.)

Just because it has been used in criminal activities means nothing, to me. I am not a criminal.

Also, BTC is not anonymous. Forensic tracking of BTC movements between wallet addresses has been used to successfully arrest criminals using BTC. Bundles of used banknotes are far harder to track than BTC.

Bitcoin is completely unregulated, uninsured and volatile. Also not a good currency.

USD is both physical and digital. It is easy to use, insured, regulated, etc... not perfect but still the best.

That is why you measure BTC against the dollar and gold against the dollar and silver against the dollar.

No one says oh 1 bitcoin is worth x amount of silver.

Just like no one says 1 oz of gold is worth x bitcoins.
