what i dont understand is this:

If these interstelar or multi-dimmensional craft have visited this planet with all their super dooper technology that has enabled them to come here i cant understand how they have basically 'broken' and left 'bits' behind for us to discover... Maybe it shows that they are not as infallable as we make them out to be and that even they suffer from 'SpaceX catastophies too....!
