The impeachment trial is an attempt to influence the SCOTUS decision in the Trump vs PA Sec et al case

Not one person up there that doesn't believe that Trump is very likely to win the case and overturn the election on 2/19/2021. So, their impeachment trial is going to magically end unfavorably for Trump just in time for the SCOTUS decision so that SCOTUS doesn't rule in favor of the "bad" guy. And even if it will, democrats are going to try to hang on to the power and will use the crowd and the media to stand up for "what is right".
