I told a coworker when we still worked in our offices two years ago "You are a Ptolemy!"

She looked shocked and gave me what was essentially a WTH? reply.

So I asked her where her grandparents or great grandparents came from.

She replied "...a small Island South of Greece."

I replied "Cipre, you call it Cyprus. It is where the Ptolemys came from that ruled Egypt. You are a blood relative of Cleopatra, a Ptolemy!"

It hurts no one and gives them a chance to explore who they really are and who they are related to. Their expressions of surprise and what they later learn makes doing things like this so worthwhile.
