When STUPIDS WRITE EXECUTIVE ORDERS

TO RESTRICT GAS & OIL PRODUCTION. . .

LESS SUPPLY- INCREASED COST BECAUSE

PRICES ARE BID UP TO OBTAIN LIMITED RESOURCES !

With COLD WEATHER INCREASED DEMAND FOR

LIMITED ENERGY RESOURCES OF OIL & GAS!

Dumacrats said in 2016 that ENERGY PRICES WOULD GO

UP AND THAT WAS A GOOD THING SINCE THE

CONSUMERS FREEZING THEIR BUTTS OFF

MIGHT BE TEMPTED TO BUY THAT NASTY OIL & Gas-

They also PROMISED TO SHUT DOWN ALL THE

COAL MINES IN THE USA-

After HILLBILLY CLINTOON SOLD/LEASED COAL

FIRLDS IN THE USA TO INDONESIA-

WHAT A RACKET- SELL YOUR COUNTRY AND

IT’s factories-JOBS to OTHER NATIONS !!!

May they BURN IN THE FLAMES OF HELL !!!!!!

Concern:

A. Nobody is going to be able to pay utility bills like that.

B. With the globalist psychopaths trying to push the "Great Reset", I fear this helps them.

we hit the proverbial offerless market where any natgas that was available would be purchased at virtually any price, which is why midcontinent prices such as the Oneok OGT nat gas spot exploded from $3.46 one week ago, to $9 on Wednesday, $60.28 on Thursday and an insane $377.13 on Friday, up 32,000% in a few days

Many people don't realize how much even running one space 1500 watt space heater per day, if you ran it 24 hours it could cost close to 4.00 per day. Do the math and decide for yourself, if you're running several of those you may drop a deuce when the bill comes.

Same article:

This is catastrophic news not only for the continued freeze in nat gas distribution, but for the explosion in electricity prices which could see many customers see a February electricity bill in the thousands, if not tens of thousands. This is what a power trader at a Houston energy company advised us on Friday:

Prices in response to the persistent cold have pushed load expectations to all time winter highs, and on par with the hottest summer days the ISO has experienced. Actual shortages could persist if units aren't weatherized and fail at any point. Monday peak is currently bid 4000, and balweek inclusive of Tuesday through Friday is 1000@2000. Off peak (nights) have traded insane levels as well, with the balance of the month trading 650$. For reference, summer of 2018 never came close to touching these levels. The highest trade on a balday was around 2000$, if i'm not mistaken.

The PUC is meeting today to discuss coordination and potential conservation efforts, but this event will likely crush several firms who are not collateralized enough to weather (no pun intended) the storm IMO. And all those folks on griddy could literally be looking at paying 4$+ per KWh across the state (as opposed to 12 cents or whatever rate you got at your house), pushing power bills to the moon.
 Quoting: thinking...

Four dollars a kilowatt is insane!

My problem is keeping my usage under 1000 kilowatts per month, because of the jump in price after 1000 kilowatts.

That looks like an energy broker. They don't service my area (western Michigan). There are others that do, though. You sign up with up with the broker for a fixed price and then get billed through the regular utility company. The ones I've seen around here are just for natural gas, though.

 Quoting: Plymouth Fury Antistep

It's different for everyone. No "hydro" bill here (western Michigan), just gas and electric, the latter coming from a variety of sources (coal, nuclear, hydroelectric, renewables). Both gas (our heat, dryer, cooking) and electric for the February 15 bill was $335.83. The next one will probably be higher. No water bill because we have a well but we do have sewer service which is about 100 bucks every three months. I'm always shocked when I hear what people in the west/southwest have to pay for water but, then again, I live where water is abundant.

My utility company, Consumer's Energy, is a subsidiary of of these guys and look at this:

In December 2011, the non-partisan organization Public Campaign criticized CMS Energy for spending $3.48 million on lobbying and not paying any taxes during 2008-2010, instead getting $29 million in tax rebates, despite making a profit of $415 million, and increasing executive pay by 79% to $900.4 million in 2010 for its top 5 executives.[34]

I don't care about them not paying taxes or even getting subsidies because the taxes would passed on to the consumers and we need energy but those salaries are bullshit.

Im thinking of buying solar panels with a grid tie in system. Plus making my own windmills. I heat with wood. So electricity during winter isn't that bad. If I make enough juice maybe ill get some money back every month and save that towards property taxes. Then we have a well.

I have been a student of Adam Smith since I first discovered him after nuthugging Ayn Rand for a couple of years prior. That was twenty years ago, pre-Tea Party. I long ago cast away that Ayn Rand crap.

I have yet to find a solid definition of capitalism, but Smith's seems to align with my own ideas.

“It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own interest.” Both parties to a voluntary exchange transaction have their own interest in the outcome, but neither can obtain what he or she wants without addressing what the other wants. It is this rational
self-interest that can lead to economic prosperity." Adam Smith
