Which happens all the time. A jet turbine generator generates massive amounts of pollution. Last Edited by Cheyenne on 02/14/2021 01:35 PM 100% Natural Unvaxxed Human Being |

Worthless... just create some excuse for a "green" project and help yourself to the Treasury. Quoting: Cheyenne They are used for blow outs when you have enough ice cream. They will raise the electric prices to the stratosphere. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78299364 Exactly. At 400 watts per mile, an entire garage covered in solar panels will only get you 25 miles per day - at best. A couple of miles when overcast. Private solar panels will be deemed illegal and for terrorist use only. You will only be able to get them if you are a Democrat government apparchik or ISIS (same thing). If the average household uses 30kw a day, at $9 per kw that's $270 a day. Some people are going to have to put in for a loan for Feb's power bill. Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80029859 Sometimes a prefixed price is a better option, don't know if that's an option in the US. |

It's price swings 5-15% daily so I stay away from it, but it has been on an upward trajectory lately... |

Just so everyone here can put that in perspective. Having a hard time wrapping my head around it but I believe that' a more than 6400% markup. |

An individual will not be paying nine dollars per Kwh, they'll see an upsurge in cents per Kwh because of the balancing pool. The balancing pool means everyone shares the increase equally, so take the population of texas or whatever specific region might see the increase and divide the nine dollars by that number and that's what a residential customer will pay. To the average consumer, they'll never even notice the increase because it'll be a fraction by the time it gets to them. Zerohedge should have explained that or at least noted it. |
