We went put blankets on all horses yesterday morning and brought them in the barn. Got lots of sweet feed to keep them bellies hot.

Saw on the local news here in Central Texas that the folks that control the power grid are doing rolling blackouts state wide lasting from 15-30 minutes in each area to ease the load on the grid.
Im sure those numbers are rolled into that power outage count.

Are the 'rolling blackouts' something new in Texas? I lived there for almost 12 years, during arctic blasts and other inclement weather - I don't recall losing power or being told to expect 'rolling blackouts'.
