Probably Moses (outside of Jesus) for me. He lived 120 years, divided into 3 stages of 40 years each....

Abraham because he took his wife, kids extended family and said we're out of here. He left his homeland with it's religious beliefs he didn't believe in and went into the wilderness. He created a new religion, a new nation.

Daniel: man most beloved.

Jesus would be my favorite. He came here & died for my sins. He gave his very life for me, so that's one reason why I love him.

I also love that he says that he has me in the palm of his hand & that no one can snatch me out. That comforts me when I get worried in life, that nothing & no one can remove me from his loving protection.

I love that he taught me how to pray, when I'm unsure how to pray. :)

My second favorite would probably be Joseph. He has an interesting story & he interprets dreams. I do enjoy dream interpretation & trying to decipher the messages that God is sending. :)

Me too! I find the story of Joseph very moving. But Daniel stands out as well. We don't get to know Isaiah as a person, but his writing is so beautiful.

I want to put Ezekiel for honorable mention, because he struggled to describe the UFO he saw with the words and concepts he had at the time.

I find Paul compelling because he could have lived in peace after he was absolved in Rome (the records were lost in the shipwreck!) ... but he just kept on until he got killed for his efforts.

Remember, he started out "persecuting" Christians, (killing and confiscating their property) but he was struck blind and recovered after understanding that what he was doing was wrong.

God and Christ obviously. Human? Ive always felt an affinity to Peter. He he was like a big puppy.he loved Jesus,but was ruled by inner fear. I find his relationship to Christ to be so encouraging.
