I miss my furry friends, but I'm glad I no longer have to worry about their health, pay for their upkeep and/or track down THEIR FOOD TOO if there's an economic crisis
but you got me thinking - if pet food procurement becomes an issue, it might be a useful cottage industry to produce it yourself
raising mice for fun & profit! etc
Quoting: Tobie pets are useful though. companions, warmth, and they are great alarms for noises or something bump in the night. and mousers. cats earn their keep
