You would be in the same predicament if you were working alone in the freezer, only one to come in for work that day, and something fell on you, trapping you inside. Eventually, hypothermia would set in.

number two. if you have ever worked in a restaurant, then during the summer when its over 100 outside, then you have to go stock the walk in freezer... trust me, after 20-30 minutes unless you wear a coat and gloves, you will wanna die.
a few of the other cooks would make fun of me for wearing a coat while doing stock. fuck them.


now, i sleep with the windows open year round u here in Humboldt county CA. however. night time lows are only 45f.

point is, its relative and if you arent used to the cold, or expecting it, and if your house isnt designed for it...

thats gonna really suck.

so, i say, have some empathy towards texas. if you can be so kind.

I heard if you sleep in a small tent put up in your room with blankets over it you can keep that space warm rather than a whole room or house.

tea light candle on a dinner plate, suspend a ceramic pot over it. voila, heat.

call 911 THEY COULD BE HOURS AWAY
OR NOT

BE IN SERVICE

build a fire outside and stand next to it IF THERE IS WOOD

take a warm bath BAD IDEA IF YOUR HOUSE IS FREEZING

turn the burner on or oven on and warm the place up
AGAIN BAD IDEA

be proactive and buy a Mr. Buddy heater or a generator[/iKINDA LATER FOR THAT ]

And there's probably a thousand other things I didn't list to stay safe and warm.WELL WHAT ARE THESE THINGS
