take your mattress off youebed,put it under kitchen table, drape some of your blankets over the table so they hang down on all sides . your body will help heat this smaller space.

If you can get a tent and a sleeping bag and strip down to your boxers in the sleeping bag in the tent.. I know it sounds crazy but your body temperature will stay up and keep you comfortable.. this works best with 2 people in 2 sleeping bags in the same tent... I learned this in Boot Camp we camped outside in 24 degree weather and were warm as shit. it works

All of you in Texas would die if you even spent a month up in the midwest during winter time. you all think that you have it cold, try dealing with minus zero temperatures, with wind chills of -40 to -60 degrees. I love how Texas goes into total panic mode when the temperature goes below 32 degrees. For us up here, that is a pleasant winter temperature.
