Report Copyright Violation | TX Public Utility Commission orders ERCOT to jack up energy prices! The order said in part, "Energy prices should reflect scarcity of the supply. If customer load is being shed, scarcity is at its maximum, and the market price for the energy needed to serve that load should also be at its highest." [ link to www.kvue.com (secure)] [ link to www.puc.texas.gov (secure)] What a bunch of bullshit. This is just raising the price because of their own screw ups and deliberate actions. Where is that price increase/profit going to go - to upgrading the grid or to shareholders? How much is it going to go up - after THEY shut it all down and caused all of this misery? THEY created the "shortage" and are now using this as justification to raise prices! In his poem Human Pride, Marx admits that his aim is not to improve the world, reform or revolutionize it, but simply to ruin it and enjoy it being ruined: With disdain I will throw my gauntlet full in the face of the world, And see the collapse of this pygmy giant whose fall will not stifle my ardor.
