Costco Hiring Preferences

There was a time that service at Costco was great. Since the 'scamdemic' the service aspect my local Costco has diminished.

The 'attendant' at the self check out registers are loud and push customers to hurry, hurry, hurry. Costco does not have hand held scanners so you have to wait for an attendant to grace you with their presence to scan heavy/bulky items for you. Any time two or more of them gather they are loud and oblivious of the loud laughing and high fives they give each others. I hate to say it but the help at Sam's Club are not much better. At least they are not loud among themselves and Sam's does have hand held scanners at the self check scanners.

If Sam's would expedite the traffic at the door for those that use their app to make in-store purchases it would help. The time gained by using the app is lost when you have to stand in line with those that use the register to check out of the store.
