Don't think so, there's millions of them for decades that have been screened, we call them 'NEET's.

NEETs are ideal for off-world colonization and exploration since some of them spend years mostly in bed, perfect for a trip to Mars or anywhere else where you might need to put people in a minimally active life style with lots of isolation and minimal consciousness. Most of them are technically savvy as well, even more benefit as if they weren't perfect already.

If most space agencies were more than money pits and laundering excuses they'd be actively hunting NEETs for studies.
