I have a close friend and his family are also in the shit with you. Thankfully they are relatively prepared compared to most there (only issue is they are on well and that froze up and their plants are toast).

Side note, I urge you and anyone in Texas to look at the cell towers EMF readings. If the towers are still outputing 5G 1400+ EMF readings you know something fucked up is happening, and will continue to happen. Someone was telling me that despite people not having power, these towers are still going strong just fine.

My original guess for this aside from China being handed a large portion of the infrastructure of the power grid, is that they are putting more power in cell towers either for geo engineering purposes (HAARP etc), or to increase odds of people getting sick along with the cold weather/lack of clean water supply factors. i.e it's a perfect storm to get a shit load of people sick, blame COVID and we all know where that leads.

We are actually doing really well because I planned but others arent.

We have a friend with a 2 week old baby girl and they lost power for 30 hours.

Thankfully they have a fireplace and just stayed warm and kept the baby bundled up and warm.

They just got power back.

Well If it were my wife and children in harms way, I would have done anything in my power to help them. But he should have stayed or been trying to help in DC or done something substantial to assist in all the mess.

I'm in North Fort Worth. In Keller by I-35. Got the notice two days ago. I'm guessing there isn't an end date to the boil notice. First it was Wednesday night, now who knows. All the restaurants are having to stay closed. too. Something is not right with all of this. I do know they were handing out cases of water to residents today at area fire stations.
