Watch Out For Hand Wash Vs. Hand Soap - One is Natural, The Other Toxic Petroleum Chemicals | |
Anonymous Coward User ID: 54469829 United States 02/19/2021 10:06 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I usually buy alot of hand soap from the Dollar Tree and have been doing so for some years. Now during this pandemic, I started noticing everywhere the term "Hand Wash" on all of these "soaps". Come to find out, manufacturers have replaced natural soap (which is safe, biodegradable, and non-toxic for the environment" with hand wash which is a petroleum-based detergent and not safe and most likely much cheaper to manufacture. Even during this pandemic, the poisoning from the very act of "washing hands" which we are repeatedly told to do has been tainted. Watch out and be aware, it's always "hidden in plain sight". [link to ekko.world (secure)] You’ve probably never noticed the small print on the bottle of liquid “soap” that sits in your bathroom or kitchen. But most likely it reads hand wash, not hand soap. The difference? Liquid hand soap is a product of natural origin, while hand wash is a product of synthetic origin. Hand soap is non-toxic and biodegradable, but hand wash is actually classified as a detergent. So next time you pick up a bottle of “soap”, check the label. You may be exposing yourself to unnecessary chemical detergents. If you want to steer clear of petrochemicals and synthetics, opt for a true liquid hand soap. |
