Explain an orbit again, Astro. Explain the physcial-mechanical aspects of a simple orbit.

In my explanation ,in a stable orbit the force of centripetal acceleration opposes the force of gravity in balance.

As I recall before you removed your post, your contention was that an object in orbit is continuously falling around the planet, Is that not true?.

Anyone who claims that as evidence of a manned lunar landing is not exceptional bright, AND YOU DID.

My contention is that a person who does not understand the basic physics involved in orbital mechanics could not possibly plot a trajectory to another planet, as that would involve the same physcis and in a much more complex set of data, and the source of the information he presented is not with himself.
