I guess they mean be less superior, but that is an a priori thing. Nobody deems you or a group that way, it simply is.

You can’t “ask” to be the leader, or the smartest, or the one with the best genes to live in a complex, technological society. It’s not something that another group of people crown you with - it simply IS. Based on historical track record and quite frankly, genetics.
