yes.. didn't hear a thing... in fact TV and computer OFF when it happened.. so I just found out when I turned on the TV.... and then came here to read.

l am trying to help an elderly friend find a way to get her water back on after our freeze.. its been a full week .. no water for her..

She has to go to the doctor monday so if she still has no water tomorrow... she can shower here.

for asking.... I am really glad they got the plane back to DIA and landed. The plane should have flown over me.. I hear them often when flying northwest.

Selling a jet engine if anyone's interested.

they are suggesting on fox news it could be maybe a goose flying into the engine and they are migrating in huge numbers over my house lately.. I so love the honking they make... flying NORTH...spring coming.

Why do all these peeps assume everyone is in the know and down with all the crap that's gone on the last 20-30 years. Sheesh. We tossed our idiot box to the curb in the summer of '94 when that retarded OJ simple son drama was being watched by our young children.

While they and their grandmother watched in disbelief (my actions too), I unplugged the huge tube tv, picked her up and walked outside to the parking lot. Put a sign take me I'm free on it, and in ten minutes it was gone.

And all those four kids grew up with zero television, read books and did nature studies and animal husbandry instead.

So we have no clue about all this stuff, but in the context of an important subject, such as planes dropping large chunks into residential areas, we'd appreciate a citation that gives meaning to the subject.

For that inlet cowl to come off like that tells me that the thing wasn't completely torqued down and have all the nuts and bolts installed. That is more then likely a maint. fault.

It does say something about the engines though, one engine kept that very heavy and slow plane in the air.

The 777 is one sweet airplane.
I happened to fly on its first commercial flight. Barbara Bush was sitting in First class and we were flying LAX to Houston.

The Pilot shamelessly kept saying we would be landing at the George Bush International Airport.

Landed so smoothly you could not feel the touchdown.

Despite recent evidence, Boeing can build one hell of a plane.

just looking at youre report about debris from a plane in Broomfield CO. Today in The Netherlands we experienced the same in the south if our country. 1 engine from a 747 caught fire and debit came down in Meersen Limburg. Plane landed safely in Liege Belgium.

Why would anyone post this noise!!! Should have given a warning there's going to be a screaming brat at beginning of vid. Had to click off immediately.

A 747 Longtail Aviation departing around 16:10 from Maastricht Aachen Airport to JFK seems to have lost parts of an engine over Meersen NL. Photo is a still from a NOS video. No injuries reported.

Health of entire fleet.

Could be software problem of sorts.
