I have a friend who is a property manager... he has the SHERIFF evict the tenet if they don't get out by a certain date.

Then, they get taken to court for a judgement against them for the rent.

A collection agency then garnishes your wages, and your lucky if you won't get fired over that.

Also your credit is ruined.

We have had some interesting discussions on this when the Covid thing came about. He said some tenets, even when both parents were working, refused to pay their rent. Said they didn't have to due to Covid.

He predicted this would happen and started evicting people months ago.

What... did you people think just because the gvt. said your rent was deferred you would never have to pay it back?

So many landlords are going to lose everything to the banks. The Federal Government is now stealing investment property through rent moratorium with no protection for the owners.
