The British government announced Sunday that it aims to give every adult in the country a first dose of coronavirus vaccine by July 31, a month earlier than its previous target.

The new target also aims for everyone over 50 or with an underlying health condition to get a vaccine shot by April 15, rather than the previous target of May 1.

The makers of the two vaccines that Britain is using, Pfizer and AstraZeneca, have both experienced supply problems in Europe. But U.K. Health Secretary Matt Hancock, who announced the new targets, said “we now think that we have the supplies” to speed up the vaccination campaign.

No chance I'm having that doom-juice jab. When I was a child I attacked a dentist who tried to come at me with a big needle and ran off and hid in a well for a few hours...won't be me ending up in a well next time mwahahaha.

my other half hasn't been registered to a GP for years so won't be contacted re the jab. I'd have deregistered from the service too but the NHS gives me amphetamines so I'll be sticking with the service for now.

I do, personally, have some-what of a get-out clause...I STUPIDLY had the flujab in 2019 and it gave me terrible sinus inflammation which lead to hearing loss for a while. Still have to have steroid spray to help.

I read the article, it appears it is not mandatory - which is good, but still idiots people will get the jab.

I have a friend whose 68 year old brother and his wife got the jab and his wife got sick. My friend convinced him NOT to get the second jab and next thing you know, he says they went ahead and got it anyway!

Come and get me. If you think I'll be prostrate and defenseless like those poor human beings in that Berlin scare home you'll be disappointed to find me painted blue and fighting back. My plans, likewise, have been laid out for years. I'm waiting.
