My best advice re OBE would be to completely saturate yourself with it. Read every book you can get hold of, watch every video. Think about it, dream about it and by doing so you let your subconscious know that you want to do it. Get a good amount of sleep, get up, use the bathroom, have a drink etc then try have a snooze. As you are falling asleep tell yourself you will leave your body upon awakening. The few times that I have had an OBE have been that way. Of all the different methods I have tried, sheer will and intent have been the best.
Lots of people seem to have great success with the Michael Raduga "leave your body in 3 days" method which you will find on YouTube. If you like astral stories then obviously there's the Robert Monroe trilogy and check out the "Astral Club" channel on YouTube.

I agree. What puts me off listening to their forecasts is the fact that they are so bound by limited vocabulary. The viewers aren't allowed to say what they think what they are viewing is. I mean, instead of saying they can see the Whitehouse or whatever, they have to say "structure". It makes the forecasts really boring to listen to.
Plus I find Courtney hard to watch. It looks as though he's had so much botox that he can't even move his mouth! Don't know why that annoys me so much but it does!

Aqesome. Thank you. The times I've went lucid I repeated over and over that I will become aware that I'm dreaming while I'm dreaming. It worked. I never refined the gift, but am going to work on that as well as it relates to astral projection.

What do you think of the soul trap? Its interesting to me as I've spent a great deal of time researching NDEs. The common thread that unites almost all of them is the white light. What a curve ball to entertain the false light soul trap perspective.

Personally, I think its, sadly, true. I have yet to see it for myself though. Until I will to see it first hand, I guess I don't really know. I just know the material resonates deeply. What loving creator would do this to its parts? This is a realm of misery, suffering, torture, slavery. Why would you, as a soul that is allegedly evolving and learning lessons, be subjected to ongoing memory wiping and incarnation here? It just doesn't make sense.

Hi OP, sorry for late reply.
Um, it's a difficult question because I just don't know. There's probably no way for us to really know until we actually die. Some would say that the astral plane as we may come to know it has been fabricated and that our original destiny was for somewhere else, closer to source. They might tell you that the beings who meet you at the white light are actually demonic imposters. So, say your relative is there, or a religious figure and they shower you with love and beckon you in, that it is a trap and they are only posing as those beings and that they can be very convincing.

When I asked the question once of someone once who advocated this idea "then what should I do instead of going to the light?" They said to do nothing, to just wait. If your loved one is really there with you they will understand and wait with you. If however it was an imposter, they'd likely become frustrated, even angry at your hesitancy. They may even just disappear altogether. So at that point, you'd know it was a trick and you just will yourself back to source. Hopefully avoiding the lower astral and reincarnation.

Or something!! I dunno. If they are that convincing and the love and light feels so real it may be very hard to resist.


OR... it isn't actually a trap and just head to the light, who knows.. What I do know is when I first heard this trap theory it was probably the most depressing thing I'd ever read. Life sucks and so do a lot of humans with their dishonesty and such. I'd always expected (and somewhat looked forward to) death being a release from that.

I like the idea of stopping.

Freedom from Samsara, the endless wheel of birth/death into realms of suffering, is our true release/salvation.

The whole memory wipe thing is ultra depressing. On the other side of the coin, one could say the veil of forgetfulness is in place as to allow for the experience of separation, the illusion/distortion of Free Will. Illusion means not as it seems, it doesn't mean unreal.

So what is it... The archontic conspiracy, or God fucking with itself for the sheer sake of the game.
