First time that the word paralambano/to take is used in the bible is when the angel tells Joseph to take Maria as his wife:

Mat 1:20 
But while he thought on these things, behold, the angel of the Lord appeared unto him in a dream, saying, Joseph, thou son of David, fear not to take (G3880) unto thee Mary thy wife: for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Ghost. 

Mat 1:24 
Then Joseph being raised from sleep did as the angel of the Lord had bidden him, and took (G3880) unto him his wife:

Joseph taking Maria as his wife mirrors the moment when our Lord Jesus Christ shall take his bride the church at the marriage supper of the lamb.

Rev 19:6

Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wife hath made herself ready.
