Interesting the word Paul used for Enoch is the same as removed, carried, deserted, etc. but not the same as Changed to what happens to our bodies.

I think that Enoch was definitely carried away but I would not say he was resurrected at that time since the Bible clearly states Christ was the first to rise from the dead.

So if Enoch had not risen from the dead had he died before Christ or was he still alive?

The Bible definitely makes it seem like he had died. Maybe not a normal death but still passing from living to death.

Gen 5:23 So all the days of Enoch were three hundred and sixty-five years.

Pass Enoch and look at Elijah, what is your take on his rapture, Elijah couldnt have resurrected before Christ so wasnt he kept translated alive in Heaven?
Cant the same apply to Enoch?

Matthew 17:3
Just then there appeared before them Moses and Elijah, talking with Jesus.

And how did Moses appeared at Christs transfiguration without the resurrection happening first?

2 Kings 2:1
When the Lord was about to take Elijah up to heaven in a whirlwind, Elijah and Elisha were on their way from Gilgal.

2 Kings 2:11
As they were walking along and talking together, suddenly a chariot of fire and horses of fire appeared and separated the two of them, and Elijah went up to heaven in a whirlwind.

Elijah wss raptured into heaven while Elisha was left behind just like what is described in Matthew:

2 Kings 2:16
“Look,” they said, “we your servants have fifty able men. Let them go and look for your master. Perhaps the Spirit of the Lord has picked him up and set him down on some mountain or in some valley.”
“No,” Elisha replied, “do not send them.”

Matthew 24:40
Two men will be in the field; one will be taken and the other left.

Matthew 24:41
Two women will be grinding with a hand mill; one will be taken and the other left.

Are Enoch and Elijah the two witnesses that were kept translated alive in heaven until now?
