I had no idea Michigan was this bad. I don't watch any news anymore or even any press conferences. If it wasn't for GLP I would be completely clueless.

Everything is packed everywhere. EVERYTHING. The mall, restaurants, movies, shopping centers, schools, sports....And everyone is so aggressive. Especially driving. Its pretty insane to be honest, I dont know how many accidents I have almost got in just running to the storage unit...

I still don't have everything moved, its pissing me off that my plans keep falling through for the big items I can't move myself. I wanted to be out of the city completely by now. Looks like my gut was right. I need my freezer and meat!!!!!!!!!!!!! ugh

And time is running out that I don't think I can trust the people I originally was going to have help me. Just b/c its popping up everywhere. One has a kid in school, I think I'm going to forgo his help.

I just need 1 person to help me load my mattress and freezer...and a way to take it up. The van in the shop is really fucking my plans up.

TB- good masks not cloth. gloves are handy. wash our hands more and more often. whenever working in Kitchen at all. even thou the cans and boxes were wiped off.anything that goes outside must b considered contaminated. coats,shoes,hats,purse,etc. hard as it is, windows up when in traffic. may mean masks even when in your own yard.

with warmer weather, we can use spray bottles of bleach water to disinfect. b handy to have in cars.

I'm looking more at my options this week. I have people going to look at the old house b/c I'm selling it. Someone is interested with cash and its not even listed. So.....I probably won't go this weekend b/c I dont want to be in the same air space less than 24hours from weirdos. I will get it and I will do it myself as much as possible. Renting a truck is hard b/c I need a ride back to my vehicle. So am looking at trailer options. problem is the subi can only tow 1500lbs so that really limits me on trailer options........

My friend and I are chatting about this surge in MI. What is going on? Is it the Brazil strain? We are both really confused b/c what they are reporting we are not seeing anywhere. No one coughing in public really, no ambulances...are cases severe or just the sniffles so far? We are both having a hard time finding actual information.

I chose California for a reason. I worked a year in Alaska outdoors for a year as a land surveyor a lifetime ago. This was before GPS and Electronic Distance Measurement. In charge of a crew pulling metal measuring chains through the snowy Alaskan Tundra. Fun Times. I was lucky I did not end up with a frostbitten nose and toes.
