For now the vaccine's do seem to be helping avert the more dire acute effects of the virus, that said we are in unchartered water with the speed of the vaccine rollout so long term side effects are well within the realm of possibility. Both sides of the argument are valid but neither is a absolute truth that is worth fighting over. Just try and disseminate the information so people can come up with their own conclusions fully aware of what knowledge we currently lack and what that may mean for the future.

And there is the slow burn to what is likely.... which means even asymptomatic are at risk for brain disorders as the brain ages and can’t protect itself.

So sooner or later... the brain needs to be studied more closely in previously infected folks.

To me, it seems simple. On paper, the long term effects of COVID are well documented. In reality, they are non-existent in the dozens of people I know who have been infected one or even two times. But it is a fact that you will only be able to hide from it for so long.

The vaccines have been around only a couple of months less than COVID, and their long term effects are zero. Either you drop dead right away or right after, or you're totally fine. And it makes a lot of sense that you will stay that way considering how short lived the vaccine components are. And you're way less likely to drop dead from it than you are COVID, so far as we know right now.

I would never speak so strongly on a matter if I had not taken the vaccine myself.

It just seems to fucking weird to me that the people who take the virus the most seriously are dead set against the one thing that may be it's downfall.
