On the knocker, as they say.

Mutated Strain Of Delta Variant Causing Panic In UK Has Been Found In US

A mutated version of the delta variant that has caused panic in the UK has been detected in several states in the US, the CDC revealed this week.

AY.4.2, a subtype of the highly transmissible delta variant which has become informally known as "delta plus", accounted for 6% of all sequenced samples of the virus. Its emergence has coincided with a rebound in COVID cases in the UK.

20 months toooooo fucking late and still not honest enough.

Brain fog in COVID-19 patients can persist for months, even in those who weren't hospitalized, study finds

Less than 50%

“This pattern is consistent with early reports describing a dysexecutive syndrome after COVID-19 and has considerable implications for occupational, psychological, and functional outcomes," the researchers wrote. Separate research, published in April in the journal Lancet Psychiatry, found that as many as 1 in 3 people with COVID-19 had longer term mental health or neurological symptoms.

Fuck. The stories are even brain dead this weekend.

Where are the workers? Cutoff of federal unemployment aid spurs no influx of job seekers

Less than 50%

In states that cut off the $300 check, the workforce — the number of people who either have a job or are looking for one — has risen no more than it has in the states that maintained the payment. That federal aid, along with two jobless aid programs that served gig workers and the long-term unemployed, ended nationally Sept. 6. Yet America's overall workforce actually shrank that month.

Looks like things are going to get messy as whatever is under the rug starts getting dragged out.

JUST IN - Fauci’s NIH division partly funded a lab to drug dogs and "lock their heads in cages filled with hungry sandflies so that the insects could eat them alive."

Croc… had this been last decade… I would agree.

Unfortunately… these are just infected walking to a slow death. The US needs workers. This won’t help. They won’t be nearly functional by the time they get here.

This decade sucks.

The lengths that they will go to in order to keep order.
Communistically impressive.

Supermarkets using cardboard cutouts to hide gaps left by supply issues

Supermarkets are using cardboard cutouts of fruit, vegetables and other groceries to fill gaps on shelves because supply problems combined with a shift towards smaller product ranges mean many stores are now too big.

Tesco has begun using pictures of asparagus, carrots, oranges and grapes in its fresh produce aisles, prompting ridicule on social media.

No. It won’t last. They all are mingling in other communities. Variants will catch up.

There was just a big funeral in Virginia, if I remember correctly… and two parents died when their buggy was reared ended. 8 kids injured… I don’t remember severity. Between 8 months and teenager.

Interesting Multi-twittering post:
Chief executive officer of logistics company Flexport:

I don’t have much confidence (if any) that the common sense solution he provides will be actioned.

The ports of LA/Long Beach are at a standstill. In a full 3 hour loop through the port complex, passing every single terminal, we saw less than a dozen containers get unloaded.
...
This is a negative feedback loop that is rapidly cycling out of control that if it continues unabated will destroy the global economy.

That Twitter post is by far the best explanation of what's going on at the ports that I have seen so far.
