Hey kiddo! I know it's not a lot of snow, but it's the most we've had at one time since the first year we moved back up here. That, on it's own, is crazy.

This if the first time I've reacted so badly to the weather. Frustrates me. Yesterday, I got a lot done and had planned on finishing up today. When I couldn't sleep last night, I knew it was going to be a bad day. 'Specially after they changed the forecast around 2 am. We were only supposed to get 1-3.

I need an island. And 75*F. It hurts so much right now.

There are a few nice islands about half an hour out, but they're just as cold and snowy as the rest of us. Wait awhile longer and we can drive across the lake to get there...maybe. If it stays cold enough.

I really feel you on this one. I react to barometric changes with migraines and full-body inflammation. If I have a good, really productive day, it's often followed by a day or two of down-time just to recover. It IS frustrating.

Lol! Two funny stories when I lived on my boat in Hawaii:

1. The Pirates of the Caribbean ship was in my marina. (Well, that's not really funny at all.)

2. We were having a big dock party one Halloween, where 90% of us were dressed up as pirates, when a tsunami warning was issued. The rule for liveaboards is to take your boat out to sea, so we all went sailing until the next morning....dressed like pirates.

Okay, so not very funny. Just trying to lighten the snow / war / ebola monkey doom. :)

Still snowing here, but it's supposed to this time of year. Too bad it's a dry snow. Can't make a snowman or a snowball.

I just took apart and cleaned my shower drain. I am not easily disgusted, but ugh. I think I did a good job, though.

This round of snow is supposed to end later tonight, but we've got more coming later in the week and that's not counting the lake effect snow. Most everything has been shut down. I don't know where all the snowplows are. We saw them yesterday a couple of times, but not today. I know there's a shortage of drivers. Might be that. Looks like the major streets are plowed. We're on a side street.

Mini LJS found my favorite hen dead yesterday. Obvious predator attack. She was a sweetie that would chortle back when I held her, and talked to her.
