I've been off a month so I'm sure i'll be shell shocked LOL Quoting: Tarnished Halo Our cases have plateaued and seem to be holding steady if not decreasing a little. Now to deal with all of the illnesses that were put to the side during this last wave. Primary Care Physicians need their asses kicked if they refused to see people because of covid. That's where a lot of the people coming to the ER start. The PCP sends people to the ER because they aren't seeing anyone in their offices right now. Fuckers. I wish the general public could see what really happens in the ER on the daily, but we all know a camera crew wouldn't be allowed to follow any employee in the hospital right now. The healthcare system isn't collapsing, it HAS collapsed. Y'all stay safe out there!! Good luck tomorrow. Thank you! I'm actually a tad nervous about going back in the trenches. Understand that. It's always hard after a big time off and then, going back to what you left or worse....not easy. I know you most likely won't be told this out there, but you ARE doing important work and it IS noticed and appreciated by some. I know I'm grateful for all the medical people that have helped me over the years and just recently. As a patient, it's hard to know who to believe or what to do sometimes. I really wish I could give you a real hug! I think you need one! Awe! It's definitely my calling! I bitch and moan, but it's mostly about the system and a few asshole pts, but I do love helping people. People suck. |

When we walked in the door at Meier, they had stacks of KN-95 masks sitting out on a table for customers. NONE of them were wrapped in plastic, they were just sitting there getting germed up. User ID: 81091216 United States 01/27/2022 05:35 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | Nothing we didn’t already suspect/know. SARS-CoV-2 Remains Infectious on Refrigerated Deli Food, Meats, and Fresh Produce for up to 21 Days Deli items and meats with high protein, fat, and moisture maintained infectivity of SARS-CoV-2 for up to 21 days. However, processed meat, such as salami, and some fresh produce exhibited antiviral effects. SARS-CoV-2 also remained infectious in ground beef cooked rare or medium, but not well-done. Although infectious SARS-CoV-2 was inactivated on the foods over time, viral RNA was not degraded in similar trends, regardless of food type; thus, PCR-based assays for detection of pathogens on foods only indicate the presence of viral RNA, but do not correlate with presence or quantity of infectious virus. The survival and high recovery of SARS-CoV-2 on certain foods support the possibility that food contaminated with SARS-CoV-2 could potentially be a source of infection [link to www.mdpi.com (secure)] Last Edited by Guythu on 01/27/2022 05:36 AM |
