That Yale study is pretty scary (Lyme does this too, so I know very well what a neurological infection does to the body.) The question is, can the antibodies that people make to the mRNA vaccine do the same thing? I would think the answer is yes.

I think the drop in numbers is due to a combination of tests not picking up the variants, and a longer incubation period.

Also, pandemics come in waves. We know this from looking at past pandemics. I suspect we're going to get walloped in the very near future.
