It's not that, Wordsie. I can't speak for anyone but myself, but I'm damned scared of the whole changing of genetics, even if it is for a good cause. Those of us that are of a certain age have been taught that genetic science is something to be wary of. Think Mengele for that one.

It just makes me nervous and there's no one irl that I trust to give me a tutorial.
