local report- masks to 20%. meat prices stable but little beef in the 1 store we stopped at.

I keep looking at my herd of geese and ducks in the front yard. Now, I have 7 baby geese that are as big as chickens. Then there is the baby bull in the pasture with Sweet Heart, the Jersey cow. He is 7 months old. I can let him grow a few more months and he will breed Sweet Heart to produce her next calf. Or, I could put him in the freezer and start milking her daily. I have not decided to make that commitment yet. Hi Darth, all this sounds quite long-term. So you are planning to stay put? We have not made a firm decision yet. If I stay in the US I could keep the cow. She is a wonderful, healthy girl. My original plan for my farm was that this would be my last move ever. However, my Doom Matrix had to be updated. We are facing more problems. BTW, I smoked and BBQ'd part of that sheep I processed recently using mesquite and apple wood. It was fabulosa!
