40 last night. some areas in the hills said they hada light frost but didn't hurt any plants.

We had a message from the electric company asking for people to move their thermostats up to 78 and not run major appliances during the afternoon/evening. When we would get them, the best I could manage was 74 and THAT was miserable in the 100's! I love Texas, but there is so much I don't miss. Heat, dust, tumbleweeds, coyotes.....I do miss my son and my friends. I'll just call them! LOL
