Welp, I made it down here safe and sound....even if I did drink too many bloody mary's and mimosas in the airport. LOL

Y'all want to hear something crazy? The grocery shelves are stocked better down here than they were in the states. The biggest thing I noticed is the BABY FORMULA is FULLY stocked. I find that odd because guess where we get our shipments from? That's right, the USA. Not sure what to think about that. Gas prices are:

Regular: 5.59 Premium: 5.79 Diesel: 5.99

Craziness because gas is usually $1-$2 more down here than the US. There seems to be less people here than last year, thank God. Airfare has shot up from $650 last year to $900 and up from my home airport. And that's coach, nothing special.

My covid adventure continues. Now when I breathe out I smell steak. Like a good, grilled juicy steak. ONLY when I breathe out. Haven't tried the mayo or dressings again. I figured I'd give that a while. I do notice I get tired more easily, but that could also be because I've been going non-stop since recovering. We shall see how that plays out.

I start work Monday so I'll keep y'all posted on what's happening down here.
