Y'all want to hear something crazy? The grocery shelves are stocked better down here than they were in the states. The biggest thing I noticed is the BABY FORMULA is FULLY stocked.
 Quoting: Tarnished Halo

FDA regulations make it near impossible for foreign dairy products to be sold in the US. There was never a shortage, it would have taken 1/20 military cargo flights between the US and the EU to carry the supply needed, but that formula would be unfit for the US market but their regulations because they need subsidize domestic production. These regulations are not per-se bad, there are good reasons to be as independent as possible but it does show when you monopolize a market like baby formula to one manufacturer for 60% of demand and their supply drops by 20% because they were to greedy to clean machine's....

There is no baby formula shortage just bad management, which is common in monopolies where people fail upwards.

Re: Sars Cov 2 … the grinder continues to eat away at resources and humanity.
anyone else noticing a trend lately? MSM is condemming govern. agencies or branches almost to the point of claiming they are obsolete and not needed, implied not stated. SC with the abortion debate, cops with the TX shooting, seems i heard 1 with the FBI as well, and we have WHO that could replace the CDC.

remember way back when i explained how the govern makes things really really bad so u accept bad? they screw things up and then save u by helping u up to a step that is much lower than we are now. there are several of these in play.

if they can get us to accept the govern as it is is broken, then ppl will accept the NWO as a fix. such as a 1 world govern will bring peace- note the war in UKRAINE for 1 example.

they'll need a lot more screwing up to get there. might b 6 mths to a year of hell. but that is how the govern's do things. kinda like u go from the top of the mountain down to the valley and then bury us in 10 ft of mud. bringing us up to ground level is an improvement, yet no where near the top of the mountain. and as u know we will pay dearly for the trip and the end results.

we have shortages of truckers, issues at ports, and shortages= push to bring in automatic, AI, self driven trucks. 1 step away from the AOC train and self checkouts in all retail outlets. high prices= a universal global economic standard. shortages with high prices- blame corporations and govern can take them over too.
 Quoting: JAZZz50

"such as a 1 world govern will bring peace" Look back at most of the wars/uprisings not started by US over the past few decades. None of those were started for a desire to become part of some larger group. The war in Ukr is a war of conquest and it is rare in that sense, All the world is rejecting and fighting russia aggregating more land through force. What makes you think that a war to unify the entire world under a 'NWO' would be plausible/possible?

Subjecting people takes force. There's not enough force subject earth.

Workers???

There is a place that has monthly new employee orientation. They haven't had one in 2 months due to lack of applicants.
 Quoting: Moniker Shmoniker

This started even prior to the pandemic, but the pandemic amplified it 1,000 times. At an old job of mine, I would hire a dozen people and tell them to be at new employee orientation on Monday morning. Six might show up. Of that six, one or two *might* make it past their 90-day probationary period.

After the pandemic started, I would train eight new employees at orientation, and half of them wouldn't even come back from lunch.

Not going to get into why I think this was happening; just stating personal experience.
 Quoting: Riff-Raff

That makes me more concerned than I was previously. I've already seen private and gov cutback on hours of operation due to lack of employees. There are only so many cutbacks that can be taken.

How well did your ad prepare them for what you asked from them? Did you make clear the conditions that aught be complied with.

You do not make clear if the drop of is due to lack of skill or compliance with procedure. If there is a sustained ability to hit skill compliance why are you not investing more in training?

There is no shortage of workers. There is a shortage of workers willing to work for your wages.

Not *my* wages. Let's be clear on that. I was pushing the CEO and COO for higher wages but was largely ignored.

But to answer your question they were informed of the work they would be doing and the wage scale before they were told to show up for orientation. If they didn't like the wages and the work, they should have turned down the job.

That boils it down to work conditions, Either the training was terrible or the pay was to little to endure it. I Don't want to antagonish you Riff, but work performance is propertional to pay and responsiblitly. Paying per hour is a horrible proposition because unless the default is zero, the effort is Zero. Trust people to put in effort and they will.

Re: Sars Cov 2 … the grinder continues to eat away at resources and humanity.
So, my idiot Uncle came up from Massachusetts to visit my parents last week. He's the only family they or I have seen since COVID started, hasn't been up here since last fall.

I was over their house most of last weekend doing yardwork for them, and we did a bunch of grilling and had some beers. My Uncle seemed kind of stuffed up and was coughing, he said it was just allergies. He had been staying at my parent's place for 2 days already before I came over, so at that point they were already fucked.

My Mom started feeling off on Sunday and had a fever, my father didn't show symptoms until a couple of days later. They finally went out and got tests on Friday and were both positive. After hearing my parents got sick, my Uncle took a test and was also positive.

I was around all of them more than enough to get infected, but so far nothing a full 7 days after the last time I saw any of them.

My mother was only sick from Sunday to Wednesday, the old man was a couple days behind but it seems at this point he's past the worst of it and is on the downside. He did have some trouble breathing when trying to sleep which freaked him out, but a good cough medicine helped get the shit out of his lungs and he's OK with that now for the most part. Neither lost taste or smell, but both had a bit of brain fog.

It's sort of a relief. They were going to get it sooner or later, and at least it wasn't from me. My father checks off just about every box for co-morbidities with COVID, and it looks like he's gonna get away with out even having to seek medical attention.

I was around my Mom pretty much all day last Sunday when she had a fever, she didn't bother to tell my until about 4pm. I'm waiting until all of them are 100% over it and I know they will survive until a give her shit for that.

There's no way I didn't receive enough exposure to be infected, so either I had already had an Omicron asymptomatic infection or I just did this week.

Either way, my immune system does not seem to have been "destroyed" by the vaccine.

For a long time, I thought a situation like that meant someone was immune due to my co-worker who's girlfriend (that he lived with) was infected, but he tested negative multiple times.

But an antibody test showed he had a previous infection... so you prob already had it and didn't know.

seriously u have a boosted immune system due to the work u do.
there is also a theory that 1% would b immune from any virus that creeps up. being out so far, mayb u got a down mutated version. here locally, ppl i know had it that should have died the 1st yr due to their health, yet they got over it. they did fight for months thou.
