Looking at fundamentals Digibyte is a solid coin as well. I like the concept of XVG (verge) however, it just suffered its third 51% attack the other day erasing 200 days of ledger trades! That is a big deal.
Honestly I am stuck now with it until it gets sorted out. Bittrex has halted trading on it until they can re-map the ledger. That's not good.
DGB though, is pretty well protected from that. And it's got a lot of features that NO other coins have.

Basically, it could mean that someone is simply trying to prove that the coin attacked is a garbage coin and should be avoided. Though strangely I like Verge and hope they fix the issue.
