There’s more out there than just BTC and ETH. There’s a bull run due to market sentiment surrounding inflation and distrust with the current centralized banking system. That’s the primary reason as to why crypto has become huge. They can attempt to tax all they want but if there’s underground economies surrounding crypto like in Central Asia and Africa, most of the first-world is on its way to duly adopting this due to mismanagement and mistrust.

Crypto is the only way to democratize finance, contracts, and governance. Decentralization guarantees privacy and allows parties who typically don’t trust one another into engaging in economic activity together.

Crypto allows us to not bribe local officials. It permits us not to become slaves in totalitarian economies. Crypto allows economic activity in times of war and in times of natural disaster.

Invest now. It may not have complete mass adoption in the first world but look to Sub-Saharan Africa. They’re all over this since their governments are unreliable and the banking system often lends at 50-70% interest.
