It’s a scene that’s played out in homes across Texas. But this time, it was at the H-E-B Plus on U.S. 183, says Shelby Lasker. Lasker, who lives in Leander and works in childcare, said she was at the grocery store Tuesday afternoon when the power went out. She was there hoping to get supplies as winter storms wrought havoc in the Austin area. [link to www.yahoo.com (secure)] That's why they fear texas so much. Real people live here. Great post man. Some evil Washington MF'er's will now try to make this illegal, or PUNISH those who did this.... Cue shots of AOC delivering fresh water while crying under armed guard. Lol. A coward dies a thousand times, but the valiant need taste of death but once. Fear cuts deeper than swords. #Notmypresident. |

Store owners know if the power is out for over a certain amount of time, they have to throw all the refrigerated and frozen stock in the trash...by law. Might as well let people have some use out of it. Can probably still claim the entire inventory on insurance |

Kind, neighbourly decent. Old school manners. I love them. Lived there many years ago, and they couldnt have been kinder . Annoyed the hell out of me this week, when some people were almost glad Texans got battered by the weather. I will always love Texas, will always hold a very special place in my heart. Last time I was there was about 4 years ago. Hope to get back again for another visit. Brush up on my rusty 'two-stepping' :) Bollox |

I still think their grocery stores are some of the worst I've ever seen tho. Sorry! It's just that after seing Wegman's in upstate NY or Meijers in the midwest, you get spoiled. HEB just is NOT a good grocery store....good people there tho! Quoting: Anonymous Coward 44883436 Just sayin'.... seems as if you should go back upstate where syores are nice and people are shitty JUST SAYING |
