SCOTUS was not the avenue to solve these states constitutional violations. The legislatures for each state had the responsibility to rein in their executive branch and they didn't.

Now it's up to the voters to punish the legislature and the executive branch in the next election. The process is snail snot slow but that's how it's set up.

This process offers no recourse for the cheated candidates but again, that's how the states set up their constitution and laws. Civil law suites are still possible to sue for cash and prizes to recoup the election cost losses. Again states issues.

The people have the state controlling government they voted for.
