They will literally wish death upon someone for not wearing a mask. Ironic.

Basically they have made us all think that we are a biological hazard to each other. Technically the masks do not work for either of those purposes unless you are actively sneezing coughing. Common sense would dictate that sick people should stay home or wear a mask in public. Cloth masks are only good for source control (protecting others) with very minimal protection for the wearer. Personally I wear an N95 with a valve + a cloth cover. You arn't supposed to wear a valve because it doesn't give source control but since I have the cloth cover anywhay, that is what I do most of the time. I would wear a cloth cover anyway because it protects the N95 and extends it's life. this way I have very good personal protection + source control. -- most people are wearing only cloth masks. They didn't want to tell people the truth that only N95s give personal protection; so now they are telling people to wear two masks. Two cloth masks isn't much better then one; you need one good N95 + a cloth cover to protect the mask. 1. For personal protection you would also need to cover your eyes. If someone coughs in your face, it doesn't matter if you're wearing a mask if your eyes are exposed. Also, the N95 can't protect you from particles the size of a virus. And unless you're wearing a respirator that seals against the skin of your face, most of the air you're breathing is coming in around the sides of the mask anyway. Useless. 2. There is no need for source control for asymptomatic people. There is no evidence of asymptomatic spread, and actually the few studies that have been done prove there is NO asymptomatic spread. If you are not sick, you don't need to wear a mask to protect other people from your breath.
