Went into a Dollar General and an IGA in a Southern state out in the sticks, practically no one was wearing a mask.

Spoke with a friend who lives in another Southern state in an outer suburb and they said, practically no one wears a mask. Also that they were visiting a beach community in our probably our most Southern state and everyone but maybe 5% of the people shopped, went into and out of restaurants and bars eating and drinking and non-maskers were the norm.

When I return home, up North, I plan to get one of those clear face shield ones, at least people can see expressions, see that you exist as a person, a human being. I really don't understand why more people don't do the clear one or why it has taken me so long.

My spouse always wears his mask below his nose and dares anyone to confront him. I have started doing that, too.

Sadly, I believe we are doomed because no decent person wants to get involved in politics and the average citizen won't take even a little initiative to boycott all the crazy corporations trying to imprison us and try to make us believe white is bad.
