There are other coins out there, which I cannot name though, as I got banned yesterday for naming those, which are much more user friendly. We should not forget that bitcoin is 10 year old technology, in the computer realm that's almost an eternity. Bitcoin lovers are the kind of investors, who keep antique coins as collectible, but not for day-to-day use. |

Anonymous Coward User ID: 79316086 United States 02/23/2021 05:02 AM Report Abusive Post Report Copyright Violation | I'v been investing for decades, not just investing but day trading and running commodities for a decade. I wouldn't give that dumb whore janet 100 dollars of mine to invest, I'd rather just avoid the loss and go buy a nice bottle of scotch. She's been a dud for decades, no matter who/what(party) is in power. The only thing I'd give her is a shovel to her fuck ugly face. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78139144 That tells me that it's being manipulated. Tesla made a fast pump and dump profit LOL Elon has frequently been at odds with the SEC with regard to manipulating securities with his online comments. While I like him, he's a smart guy, I know he's frequently prone to manipulating markets. Even to the dullest mind, it's pretty obvious his motives. dont lots of people still think the gamestop thing was legit and not just market manipulation by stock broking insiders? |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 78139144 That tells me that it's being manipulated. It also tells you it will never by widely accepted as a currency. It's instability and speculative nature, just like tulips and beanie babies, will see it drop heavily - I'd say back to the 5-7k mark. The only crypto that will be viable will be one backed by gold and silver: bank on it. |

See how stupid you sound? I don't think I sound stupid, as the underlying cryptography is constantly researched further and improved on. That's why coins like Theta came into existence. But with bitcoin it is like an old car where you try to use a better carburetor to squeeze out more speed, but you still using a carburetor instead of using a fuel injection system. |

I don't oppose the idea of independent or even digital currency, but the power and resources being wasted on this wild, speculation market is insane. Wait until the environmentalists start calling it out. |
