Quoting: Anonymous Coward 80064498 Shit changes all the time. We REALLY need to stop falling for and encouraging this separation by race/class. It's all a P.R. stunt by NWO assholes, to divide and conquer. No, not fat like today's fats. Fat like today's chubbies. It meant you had access to more than enough food. Just like pale skin meant you didn't have to work in the fields. It doesn't mean some 700 lb monster who can't climb out of bed was lionized. |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 73422624 Michael Marmot wrote a book about it: [link to www.amazon.com (secure)] thank you, I always appreciate book links. reading the blurb, it is not directed at one race. Higher social standing tends to mean better health. no argument there. As Thomas Sowell points out, black slaves had higher social standing in the American South than some other groups. They were not used for the most dangerous work - the Irish were. Irish people lived a shorter lifespan than black slaves or freemen. American slaves had families that were more stable than black families after The War On Poverty - Johnson's welfare launch. and much of the cotton, perhaps most, was picked by people like these: Liberalism is totalitarianism with a human face – Thomas Sowell |

Quoting: Anonymous Coward 71304982 They are "victims" and only libtards can "help" them. So, what is the solution to the idea that talking about obesity is racist? Just shut up about it and let people be fat? I think Scientific American may be on to something here, accidentally. I've been sick to death of my government lecturing me about what to eat since elementary school, so them deciding it's racist and never talking about it again would be a welcome change. I eat a lot of copper in sunflower seeds - one day I noticed it was doing nice things for my hair. I read up on it and although they don't want to REALLY admit it, dietary copper CAN promote color, like it does in fireworks. of course a link! [link to www.redenhair.com (secure)] Functions of copper against greying hair Our body needs minerals to perform various vital functions, such as bone formation and hormone production. A varied, balanced diet is the best way to obtain these nutrients. Copper is a vital component of melanin, the natural dark pigment that gives the skin, hair and eyes their colour. Melanin can only be produced by melanocytes in the presence of the enzyme tyrosinase, and it is precisely copper that catalyses this enzymatic reaction. Taking supplements that contain this mineral is therefore a very effective way of helping protect against greying hair. As it plays a role in the formation of melanin, the pigment that gives the hair its colour, it has been shown on several occasions how copper levels affect the premature appearance of grey hairs. A piece of research published in the journal Biological Trace Element Research in 2012, showed the link between a deficiency of this mineral and greying hair. However, being called a racist 24/7 and watching everything in the world become racist is starting to make me notice things that I honestly never cared/worried about. It is making me a little angry and frustrated and I am almost beginning to feel resentful. In other words, the continual barge of nonsense is taking a toll on my attitude and I have to really watch it or I could feel myself changing. And I don't want to do that. But for crying out loud--they need to stop this--this kind of thing has two options in the end--we either become pandering idiots of guilt or we become resentful and resentfullness changes us into what we don't want to be. They really, really need to stop this victimization and realize that all people have their share of problems and not everything is racist--they are probably making people racist by their accusations. It is just horrible. wkk |

What we're witnessing in today's America, if not the West in general, is a berserk form of liberalism metastasizing into a version of what Stalin, Hitler (a homosexual animal-rights lover), Mao, Castro, Pol Pot, Maduro, etc, etc, were or are all about. |
