Let people like what they like, will ya? It’s possible and perfectly okay to listen to both Bach and rap. These are simply two different forms of music and expression, and one doesn’t need to be better than the other. Music isn’t a competition, silly.

I understand you were attempting to call Americans stupid for their musical preference of rap, but again let’s not generalize, okay? Being an American, I know MANY Americans, like a whole ton of’em, and I can say with certainty that there are a lot of Americans who definitely do not listen to rap music. There are a lot who do. Some humans listen to rap and some don’t. I think we can leave the nationality out of it.

I’m not sure where you are from, OP, but I guarantee you folks in your country listen to rap music.

I also understand you were using “rap” as your reasoning for calling Americans dumb, because you view rap as a lesser form of music, presumably for stupid people. This is at least what your post implies. Americans are dumb for listening to rap and smoking weed, while you are intelligent and refined for listening to Bach and sipping cognac. But I don’t think you should be so quick to dismiss rap. It’s understandable to see why a large percentage of people think rap is just stupid and for stupid people. The majority of any rap heard on the radio or through mainstream channels is absolute garbage, but I argue the same can be said about most mainstream popular music, of any genre.

There is some incredibly intelligent and moving rap music out there. It won’t get played on the radio, tho, so it might require a little effort on your part to find it, but it exists. Rap can be poetry. These people play with and bend words to give them new meaning. They tell spiritual stories. They paint pictures with words and rhymes. ANY intelligent person wouldn’t write off an entire genre of music so quickly.

Good music exists in all genres just like bad music does. Open your mind a bit and you’ll have a ton of great stuff to listen

Good people exist is all shapes, sizes, colors, genders and countries. As do stupid shit bag people. Let’s stupid generalizing entire groups of people based on small dumb stereotypes. That’s kinda a stupid thing to do, and gives you an inaccurate view of reality.

Also weed is way better than alcohol. Alcohol is literally man made poison that works by restricting oxygen flow to your brain, killing your brain cells and liver in the process. Weed is waaay better. Alcohol will never win that argument. Weed is not a poison. Weed is not man made. God gave us marijuana.
